After swearing into office on Mar. 14, I have officially been deemed the ASB President for the 2025-2026 school year. With this role, I know, comes great responsibilities and expectations, but I’ve never wanted anything more than to face these head on with the support of my ASB class this coming year.

Through my many mentors in ASB, such as the current and preceding ASB Presidents, respectively Anson Geis and Katherine Le, I have learned how to delegate, better manage my time, efficiently plan events and sustain a balance through it all. With this, I hope to pass down my accumulated knowledge and experience in ASB to future leaders who, like me, strive to do their best for the betterment of their school. I hope to instill my passion for leadership in others so they can increase their devotion to Tesoro and the student body.

With my growth and experience in leadership, whether than be in said ASB years, in my soccer captaincy, or role as Editor in Chief of this newspaper, I feel as though I will be able to lead this campus to the fullest capacity. Majorly, I will strive to build greater strength in our student fellowship, encouraging further school pride and a sense of belonging.

In particular though, I hope to recognize more national days in spirit weeks such as Kindness Week and Earth Day, ramp up the publicity and campus-wide paraphernalia for events, and promote greater inclusivity by offering more events allocated towards different groups across campus. Further, I also want the students' voices to be heard so their school year is favorable to them.

With all this being said, I cannot wait to step into this new role in support of my school to grow as a leader and help others do the same. With a trustworthy executive board to support me, I have no doubt that this upcoming year can be nothing short of memorable and groundbreaking.
