Another senior success story Is Mackenzie O’Byrne.

O’Byrne has been in ASB for four years, with many notable contributions to the school’s culture, environment and class of 2025. She has worked her way up from a freshman intern, to a student and staff liaison, a dance commissioner and now the Senior Class President.

O’Byrne reflects fondly on her time in Tesoro ASB: “I have loved these past four years growing as a leader, and I have felt so connected and involved in the culture of our school.”

Even while wearing many hats of leadership, O’Byrne was also a successful student who took part in AP and honors classes. When she is not in the classroom, O'Byrne can be found in the studio, as a dedicated member of Laguna Dance Theater.

Mackenzie has juggled her school and dance life with both grace and grit. She is well known in the Orange County community for her role as the sugar plum fairy in the Laguna Dance Theater’s annual production of The Nutcracker.

In the future, O’Byrne plans to attend the University of Utah honors program, double majoring in dance and finance. She will also continue her artistic pursuits in their ballet program.

O’Byrne shares her wish for the future of her peers with a message to her senior class: “My wish for the Class of 2025 is for everyone to find a path in life that leads them to happiness, success, and a fulfilling life.”
