Jenna Radwan is graduating from Tesoro High School and going on to attend Point Loma Nazarene University, majoring in psychology and minoring in music.

While Point Loma is ranked one of the top Christian Universities in the country, Radwan also chose it due to the beauty of the campus and its esteemed music department.  When asked why she chose to major in psychology, Radwan expressed, “I love the idea of helping people, and studying human behavior and brain function really interested me.” When it comes to music, she shared that she has been performing since she was four years old, and that “music always had a place in [her] heart.”

She also plans on continuing to sing during her time at Point Loma, noting the choir department here at Tesoro as one of her biggest motivators: “My choir directors and family are a huge part of my motivation to become better than I was before.” While she is also inspired by her peers and friends, she “love[s] to mentor younger students in hopes to...be someone they can look up to and aspire to be.”

Being a member of one of Tesoro’s most sought-after ensembles, Madrigals, as well as Titanium (Tesoro’s acapella ensemble) and various other groups, her talent and kindness are an inspiration to all throughout the department. For next year, she is most looking forward to living on her own and exploring a new town, as well as meeting new people and making life long bonds. As an outgoing senior, Radwan has made her mark on Tesoro and will move on to make a great impact on the world.
